The hottest IMCA Modified driver in the west will try for three wins in a row Saturday night at Canyon Speedway Park.  Jay Foster, the 2007 track champion leads a field of modifieds including point leader Bo Hatfield, Tim Ward, John Morris Jr and many more to the Peoria oval in search of the 25 lap main event win.

The IMCA Sport Modifieds will also be on hand with last week's main event  winner Garret Funk looking for a repeat.  The hardluck award of the race last week went to Taylon Center who dominated most of the main event until a flat tire sidelined him with just a couple laps to go.

The AMMA Winged Modified Midgets will take to the oval for their fourth race of the season.  The previous three races have seen three different faces in victory lane.  Kiley Fellars, Matt Jackson and Dylan Cappello have the 2009 main event wins to their credit.

Super Stocks and Pure Stocks round out the action for the full fender crowd.

Racing begins at 7:30pm.  Spectator gates open at 5pm.  Admission is just $12 for adults, $10 for Seniors and Military with Children 12 and under always free.

Canyon Speedway Park will continue with its audio webcasting of our events accessed by a link on our tracks website.  The webcast begins at 7:15pm with a quick preview of the nights racing activities and then you can listen to all the action from the announcers booth during the event.  Special thanks to this week's webcast sponsors Quick Response Fire Protection and Double D Motorsports for all their help.

Fans are also encouraged to bring an fm radio headset to listen to all the action broadcast over our low level fm transmitter to the grandstand area.

Canyon Speedway Park is located just south of the Carefree Highway off 99th Avenue in Peoria, AZ.
