Tucson, AZ (January 5th,
2009) - Tyler Reddick driver of the Broken Bow Records,
Jason Aldean and America's Incredible Pizza sponsored
car has set his eyes on the Wild West Shootout.
Tyler a World of
Outlaws Late Model regular has completed plans to
compete at the shootout the final weekend. "It's a
great race and I have to come see Kenny Wallace" said
Tyler. Tyler went on to explain that ever since Kenny
on national television made the comment about me as "out
of the womb and into a racecar" during the Firecracker
100 that he's been dying to meet Kenny! "He made me
laugh so hard!" said Tyler. Going to Tucson Tyler will
be able to meet him in person and actually see Herman in
action as well.
Tyler Reddick Racing had
been holding off racing and testing until the Super Bowl
of Racing at Golden Isle Raceway. But this opportunity
is hard to pass up and TRR will modify our Georgia
plans.
The Wild West Shootout is
a great week long series and Tyler is looking forward to
coming to town to see what he can do. "I'd sure like to
add the BILL CHEESEBOURG MEMORIAL
as a win to my list of wins!" said Tyler. This
will mark the furthest point west Tyler will have been
in racing in 3 years, "It will almost be like going
home" said Tyler.
Tyler will only be
able to race the final two nights as the team had to
move their plans forward a few weeks to be ready to
travel and compete. The cars have been under going
transformations for the 2010 year of racing. Yes, Tyler
will be sporting a new graphic's package for 2010.
Tyler Reddick started his
racing career at age 4 and has several accolades to his
accomplishment. Highlights are some 13 series
championships, 5 rookie of the year awards and 3
national titles in various series over the years. Not
to mention he became the youngest driver in World of
Outlaw's history to drive his way into a feature event.
Tyler has yet to put
his Broken Bow Records, Jason Aldean, America's
Incredible Pizza, Vp Racing Fuels and Gatorz Precision
Eye Wear super late model in victory lane. Tyler has
racked up several B-main wins and has recently beaten
some really fast drivers in head to head action. So the
"Bill Cheesebourg Memorial" just might be the place that
Tyler notches his first win.
Tyler is encroaching
on nearly 700 event starts in his career but is yet just
14 years old. Tyler started in Outlaw karts then move up
through mini sprints, full midgets, 410 non wing sprints
and now Super Late Models.
The "California kid"
makes his current home in Du Quoin Illinois as it has
been serving as the mid west race shop location. TTR
maintains a west coast location race shop in Corning
California that supported his earlier years of racing
around the west.
Tyler will be running
the full World of Outlaws Late Model Series again this
year with over 50 series races this season. Tyler
finished 14th in the series this last year in
is rookie debut. Tyler has hopes of moving up in the
point's ladder this year with his sights set on the top
10.
Tyler would very much
like to meet you in the pits during the races. So come
over and check his team out. Tyler has tee-shirts,
coffee cups, diecast cars and drivers cards available
for autographs.
The Wild West Shootout
