Tucson, Arizona (March 28th, 2009) - RC Whitwell railed to victory in the Taco Bell redo winning his second straight UMP West Modified feature at USA Raceway.  Whitwell battled his way to the front leading the remainder of the 39 car field to the finish line and garnering a $1000 top prize.

Whitwell outgunned the field and took the lead from his 3rd starting position and held off a consistent charge from the star studded field.  Whitwell returned to familiar ground as he collected the first place hardware showing his mastery of Tucson's premier racing facility.

Terry Tipton entered the 2009 modified arena in spectacular fashion, winning Heat #2 and bringing home runner up honors in the 25 lap feature.  Tipton had his hands full fending off Robert Adams, Anthony Madrid and Johnny Scott who rounded out the top five.

Madrid topped the Taco Bell Dash for Cash and earned a bonus payday.

Mike Bringer made his 2009 USA debut out classing the remainder of the Super Stock competitors.  Bringer took the point from his pole starting position and never looked back holding off Rob Colclosure and Marty Hussak.
Terry Bridges and Steven Ashcroft rounded out the top five while series point leader James Binkley had a rough night finishing 21st.

Sy Monroe, also making his 2009 USA debut, won the shortened Factory Stock feature.  Monroe crossed the start finish line just ahead of Johnny McCarty Jr. and Dusty Gauthier.  Series Point Leader, Terry Churchwell, experienced an off night finishing 18th and allowing 7th place finisher Josh Partain an opportunity to narrow the gap on the points battle.

John Callans and Duane Jones were victorious in the Hornet divisions.
