We had some good times at the Western this year. It was neat to see Bobby Marcum out there battling it out. He said he will be running with us some more next year. The racing was great, and the show was run real well. We hope that everybody can look at these pics and it reminds them that really we are priveleged to be able to do what we do, and that really, as long as we are having fun, we are all winners.

All pictures below are by Gaye Allen

Marcum made a good show despite mechanical problems.

The driver's meeting

That's right, the Michaels are defying conventionality and they are running a Ford. It runs pretty good, too.

Here was a familiar scene. The Shuman/High Battle. Casey and Nathan did a great job keeping the fans on their feet.

Ken Caskey was in he mix for the big purse. Ken is getting his sprint car game together this year. We hope to see more of him next year, even though he picked a pretty tough bunch to run with, it doesn't seem to bother him a bit.

Tom Ogle made the show and keeps getting better and better. I fully expect him to be running closer to the front next year.

The track  was not too bad all weekend as you can see in this shot. All of the drivers managed to find some traction all weekend

Hockett, well........................ The great thing about this whole group is that they are not only great at the track, but they are great people period. The Massey team, the Davis Family and the crew set a benchmark for sportsmanship in this part of the country. We are glad to have them running with us.

Running with the big names was another added bonus to running the Western. Brady Bacon is a formidable opponent. Here Nathan is picking his way through the field trying to get to the front.

The Cowboy Tony Jones struggled all weekend. It goes to show that we all have off weeks. This guy is really  fun to watch. He makes his home track at Perris.

Theres a group of VIP's The snack Bar kept us fed all weekend, and the ribs were fantastic. Not a bad looking bunch either.

What do you get when you mix a Tuttle and two Hendricsens?    Well, see for yourself above

Jeremy Reagles had a rough week, but hey, he can still strike a pose. Here's a guy to watch. Next season should prove to be interesting wih another season worth of experience under his belt

Don't look now but there is a red car that is catching up to you. Jeremy Sherman had another banner year with ASCS. Jeremy raised the bar in the Canyon Region competition over the last two years.

I just like this picture. There's just something about when your girl likes racing as much as you do. Some of us are just plain lucky I guess.
