We have just received word from Manzanita Speedway staff that tomorrow nights program featuring ASCS Winged Sprint Cars has been cancelled. Allyson Morgan called and said that despite efforts to pump out the water from the hard rains, they just don't see how they can dry out the facility enough to go ahead with the program, so they hoped that ABC Motorsports could help spread the word.

Manzanita Speedway was hit hard by the Thursday night storm forcing the local track to postpone the Saturday night show. Track officials and track maintenance gave up hope of preparing the tracks as both the half mile track and the one third mile track were still under water and they called it off shortly after noon. Track officials are hoping to get the Winged Sprint Cars, AMA Modlites and Sport Modifieds that were scheduled to run Saturday night on the September schedule.
