The ASCS Winged Sprints will be featured this Saturday, September 6th at USA Raceway. This division showcases the best wing sprint car teams in the Southwest.
Ben Gregg,
the talented Phoenix driver, is leading the points in this division.
Gregg's lead in the inaugural ASCS Southwest Region championship points race is
66 points ahead of his closest competitor. Shawn Sander from
Las Cruces, NM enters
Saturday's action at USA ranked second in points, just four markers ahead of
Las Cruces, NM, ace
Rick Ziehl. Steve Martin is a close fourth, just six points ahead of the
sensational 18-year-old Tucson rookie, Cody Cambensy.
Late Models and
Super Stocks will also be racing at USA Raceway. Late Model Driver, Ted
Robinson has a slight 14 point lead over Jamie Throckmorton. Terry Hill is the
point’s leader in the Super Stock Division and is battling Eric Gibson for the
Championship.
Gates Open at 5:00pm and racing begins at 7:00pm. Adults $15, Seniors, Military & Juniors (12-16) $ 12 and Children 11 and younger FREE. Air cooled VIP Area that seats 110 guests available on a first come basis. There is a $ 5 additional charge per person for the VIP area.
