Lonnie Wheatley, PHOENIX, Ariz. (September 6, 2008) – Reigning Discount Tire Co. American Sprint Car Series Canyon Region champion Jeremy Sherman reeled off his tenth series win of the season by topping Manzanita Speedway's 30-lap Fan Appreciation Night feature event on Saturday.
Sherman moved forward from the fourth starting position on the 1/3-mile oval to post his third consecutive win aboard Fred Bryan's Wesmar-powered F&E Development No. 77 and seventh victory in the series last eight events.
Sherman took the checkered flag in front of Charles Davis, Jr., who charged forward from 19th, with Shon Dekins, Mike Martin and Jeremy Reagles rounding out the top five.
Nathan High won the Trophy Dash, with Reagles, Bernie Smith and Martin posting heat race wins.

Nathan had the ABC Body Shop #12 hooked up for the Trophy Dash win

Andy Reinbold scared us with this small fire, but was back together to run the main
Bernie was a sitting duck between turns 1 and 2 and got nailed by Sawyers which ended the race for both of them
Daryl, the push truck/flag holder guy (I told you I would put this in LOL)
Brendan Higgens is getting in some good seat time.
We were happy to see Brian Swinehart make the trip to race with us

Josh Pelkey had his heat race cut short, but made it back for the main
Reagles was flyin' until his tire went low, but he held on to finish a respectable 5th in the main
A couple of smacks to the front and rear of our car and our night ended early (check out the paint coming off the tail tank)
It's always good to have Bobby Ream racing with us.
Davis took a tumble down the front stretch in his heat, but was right back in the action for the main taking 2nd place.
The drivers came out and applauded the audience in appreciation for their attendance
