Report from Ted Williams 1-22-08

 

For those of you who didn’t get the final Saturday results of Colby’s first attempt at the Chili Bowl here it is,

 

 Finished 4^th in the J Main, transferred to the I Main, finished 3^rd transferred to the H Main, finished 8^th. That is some good racing against the best in the Nation. Great job Colby!!

 

Those of you who didn’t catch the live broadcast, they interviewed our boss Mr. Lucas.  I know he really isn’t our boss but he and the whole Lucas organization have done so much for the Bandit Racing Team in 2007 we can’t say enough. Now here is some class, sitting in turn four with the general public and having a good time watching dirt racing. In my opinion, that just showed the racing world that Lucas Oil is not just about NHRA but the whole racing industry including down to earth dirt tracking.

 

Derek’s new sprint car is being assembled as well as Joshua’s and Daniels. The new Hyper Mini Sprint is on it way as well. We should be finalizing driver selection and have a good working schedule by next week.

 

Some good news, Circle Track Depot has become the Southwest Distributor for Hyper Racing products which includes Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Clark County Nevada. We also have just about got the proto type Twister car ready for testing so we can start rockin and rollin on that project as well.  With Circle Track Depot affiliation with Bandit Racing, we should have access to up to date racing products for the team making us better and more competitive.
