RE: Thunder on the Beach Raceway

To all drivers and crew members.

The track is coming along very well I wanted to give you an update.

I have met with both sides of the border regarding our upcoming events.  Both sides of the border are going out of their way to make this border crossing simple for you and allowing the drivers to bring fuel and spare tires for the race cars and trailers.  To that end you will find on my website www.thunderonthebeach.mx  a simple manifest form to complete.  This form after completed for each vehicle and trailer will be given to the Mexican customs officer upon entry into Mexico.  You will also hand this form to the US customs officer upon reentry to the USA.   This form can be copied and used in future border crossings for my events.    They have approved for the drivers to bring up to 200 litres or 55 gallons of racing fuel per race car.   You will notice my use of the words “Racing Fuel” instead of Methanol.  Racing fuel is the preferred term for our purposes.

Be sure that for all other vehicles that you are bringing IE Quads, off road toys, etc that you have your current registration for each vehicle when you cross into Mexico.

Everybody is excited for you to come and enjoy the inaugural event for Thunder on the Beach Raceway.  For those of you who are still concerned with crossing into Mexico, I want to assure you that we will have escorts to help you cross into Mexico and for the short 60 mile journey to your new favorite beach town.  If we have a good showing of Sprints for this event I am prepared to do a $5000.00 to win in January.

A lot of hard work and preparation along with the very best cooperation I have ever witnessed have gone into making this event a huge success, I and the whole Thunder Racing Team welcome you.  If you have any questions be sure to call me personally at the number above, leave a message and I WILL call you back.  You can also email me at thunderonthebeach@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

Bob Livingston
