The
"Outlaw" Jimmy Ray Jets to USA Raceway Victory Lane

Montgomery Tucson, Arizona (July 10th, 2010) -
Jimmy Ray captured the Barnett Harley Davidson UMP West
Modified feature by out dueling RC Whitwell, marking his
second main event win at Tucson's USA Raceway.
Ray
used his front row starting spot and led all 25 laps
crossing the line first for the $1000 payday. A fierce
battle brewed behind Ray as Johnny Scott, Fito Gallardo,
RC Whitwell, Paul Banghart, and Brian Campbell continually
applied pressure, but Ray rode out front and held off the
charge from a stout field of competitors.
Whitwell settled for second with Brian Clark filling the
final podium position. Chris Olexiewicz finished fourth
just ahead of hard charger Paul Banghart who rounded out
the top five.
Marty
Hussak took home the added UniFirst money as he led all 20
laps collecting the $600 UniFirst Super Stock feature
money. Hussak held off a three way battle with Rob
Coleclasure, Brian Brown and Lonnie Foss as they slugged
it out for the second position while point's leader Dwayne
Hogan completed the top five.
Isaac
Zaragoza made it two in a row by winning the 20-Lap
Factory Stock main event. Zaragoza beat Terry Churchwell
and Dan Gauthier to the stripe earning him his second
consecutive trip to victory lane.
Point's
leaders Jim Hock and Stephen Lee took top spots in RWD
Hornet and FWD Hornet action respectively.

The ASCS Wing Sprint cars return to action this Saturday
night July 17th. The action heats up as the
ASCS Sprint Cars are joined by X-Mods, Modified Midgets,
Dwarf Cars and Modlites. General admission tickets will
go on sale at 4pm for only $15, racing will begin promptly
at 6:45pm.
