Tucson, Arizona (May 26th, 2009) - Bumper Jones put an end to RC Whitwell's winning streak by routing the 36 car field in Sundays Memorial Day feature at USA Raceway. Jones battled his way to the front leading the remainder of The Barnett Harley Davidson UMP West Modifieds to the finish line and collecting a $2000 top prize.
Jones outgunned the field and took the lead from his 2nd starting position
and held off a consistent charge from the star studded field. Jones, who has
been on The USMTS Modified Tour and ranks in the top 10 in USMTS points, made
his way to Tucson's USA Raceway for the rich double header and walked away with
the top prize.

Terry Bridges collected his first 2009 USA victory, out classing the
remainder of the Super Stock competitors. Bridges took the point from his 5th
starting position and never looked back holding off Terry Hill and Tommy Hussak
III.
Calvin Catlin became the sixth different winner in nine races in a very
competitive division of Factory Stocks. Catlin crossed the start finish line
just ahead of Dusty Gauthier and Bob Burchett.
Daniel Dohertywas victorious in the AZ Modified Midget division.

USA Raceway hosts The ASCS Southwest Wing Sprint Cars this Saturday May 30th
presented by Discount Tire. The ASCS Wing Sprint Cars will be joined by X-Mods,
Dwarf Cars and AMA Modlites. General admission tickets will go on sale at 5pm
for only $12, racing will begin promptly at 7pm.
Season Passes are on sale for only $199 and $149 for Seniors, Students and
Military. Suite Access Passes which allow race fans the opportunity to enjoy
the races from USA Raceway's VIP Suite are also on sale for only $349.
USA Raceway, Arizona's premier short track, is located east of Tucson off I-10
exit 268, then 1.6 miles south on Craycroft Road, which turns into Los Reales.
